Russian invaders set themselves a task of capturing the territory of the Donetsk oblast on New Year's Eve. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky told this during his evening address to citizens on December 29.
"The situation on the front line has not changed significantly over the day. The most acute are Bakhmut, Soledar anf the entire line in the Donbas. The enemy has not given up on the crazy idea of capturing Donbas... Now they are setting themselves a task - on New Year's Eve", - Zelensky said.
As previously reported, the fields and the forest strip near Bakhmut are sown with the corpses of russian invaders.
