2023 should be decisive in Ukraine's war against russia. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky in a video message on December 27.
"Today, I held a meeting of the Headquarters - already the 44th this year. The topic is clear. First of all, these are Bakhmut, Kreminna and Donbas as a whole. Possible actions of the enemy in the eastern direction and our actions. We heard the commanders, decided on steps for the near future. We continue prepare the defense and security forces of Ukraine for next year. This should be a decisive year", - the President stressed.
"We understand what risks there are in the winter, we understand what we must do in the spring, which means we understand what results the entire defense and security sector should demonstrate", - he noted.
"We discussed the supply of ammunition and the repair of military equipment separately", - the Head of State concluded.
As reported, Budanov announced the onset of a "decisive period" in the war against russia.
