As of the evening of December 19, the situation in the energy system of Ukraine remains difficult. In the central region, including in Kyiv, more significant restrictions on electricity supply have been applied due to significant damage to the energy infrastructure. NPC Ukrenergo reports this on Facebook.
"The repair teams of Ukrenergo are making every effort to restore power supply as soon as possible. First of all, electricity was supplied to critical infrastructure facilities: hospitals, water utilities and boiler houses. We hope that by the end of the next day, we will be able to increase the level of consumer healing by 20-30%", - the message says.
Ukrenergo also noted that emergency recovery work is ongoing. Significant restrictions on electricity consumption have been introduced in Kyiv, the Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Cherkasy and Kyiv oblasts.
Let us recall that earlier, YASNO stated that in Kyiv, there may be no electricity for 10 hours.
