Kremlin has stated that the russian federation invaded Ukraine because its concerns about the "Minsk agreements" were being ignored. This was stated on December 11 by press secretary of the russian president Dmitry Peskov, - the russian media write.

"Over time, of course, this became obvious. And, again, president Putin and our other representatives constantly repeated and stated this. But all this was ignored by other participants in the negotiation process. All this is just the forerunner of a special military operation", - he answered the question whether the russian federation understood that it was being deceived about "Minsk-2".

As previously reported, president of the aggressor country vladimir putin stated that the annexation of Donbas should have been carried out as early as 2014.
