The russian federation does not recognize its own passports issued on the territory of the "LDNR", and the owners of these passports are not allowed to cross the border. This was reported by the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in its Telegram channel on September 15.
"Russian passports issued on the territory of CADLO do not have legal force on the territory of the russian federation, – the message said. – At least those who tried to leave the "LDNR" with such a passport are explained at the russian border that "you are nobody and your name is nothing".
It is emphasized that after that, dissatisfaction with russia and the actions of the russian government intensified among the pro-russian residents of CADLO.
It is specified that these sentiments changed dramatically after the offensive of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
It was earlier reported that a draft law on punishment for obtaining a russian passport had been prepared.
