The government of the Sakhalin oblast is preparing to add foreign citizens to the recipients of cash payments for participation in the war against Ukraine. The relevant draft decision is posted on the public discussion portal, - regional media write.
It is proposed that not only russian citizens, but also foreigners who are ready to go to war against Ukraine can receive 200 thousand rubbles ($3 270) of "material assistance" for their willingness to conclude a short-term contract and take part in the so-called "special military operation".
To do this, they will have to meet two criteria - to be legally in the country and to be registered on the territory of the Sakhalin oblast.
