The Ukrainian military "worked out fire control" in the southern direction at night - there were hits on the Antonivka and Kakhovka bridges. This was reported by head of the joint coordinating press center of the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine Natalia Humeniuk on the air of the information telethon, - UNIAN writes.
"The same fire control that we have been holding for several days in this direction has been worked out. It has its results, it has hits - quite serious - both on the Antonivka and Kakhovka bridges", - she noted.
According to Humeniuk, the Ukrainian military destroyed several enemy bases with ammunition in the south as well.
"We are clarifying which of the results are ours, since we understand that the resistance movement in the occupied territories is quite powerful", - the head of the joint coordinating press center said.
As OstroV reported, explosions were heard in temporarily occupied Kherson on the evening of August 7. Local residents reported that powerful explosions were heard after 23.00 in the area of the Antonivka Bridge, after which a fire broke out there.
