The occupiers are withdrawing personnel from the territory of the villages of Verkhniy Tokmak and Chernihivka, Zaporizhzhia oblast. This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
"After the strikes of the AFU at the location of the occupation forces near the villages of Verkhniy Tokmak and Chernihivka in the Zaporizhia oblast on the night of July 29, the rashists withdrew their personnel and equipment to other positions", - the report says.
In addition, about 40 wounded invaders were taken to the hospital in the city of Polohy.
The Main Directorate of Intelligence reports that almost all units have been withdrawn from Chernihivka.
Currently, several checkpoints and no more than 100 soldiers remain near the settlement. The rest of the occupiers, along with equipment, were distributed in the cities of Tokmak and Berdiansk.
"When leaving the settlements, the rashists are trying to create the impression of a planned rotation. In fact, the occupiers intend to completely leave the village and have begun mining access roads", - Ukrainian intelligence notes.
Earlier, the British Ministry of Defense reported that the AFU counteroffensive in southern Ukraine was gaining momentum.
