The russian federation has cancelled the traditional military parade for the Navy Day in Sevastopol on July 31, - russian media reported.
According to one of the pro-Kremlin media outlets, there will be no traditional parade in the Sevastopol Bay this year. In addition, the meeting of sailors in the House of Officers, as well as a reception with the commander of the Black Sea Fleet of the russian federation, was cancelled.
The reasons for the cancellation of the parade are not reported.
According to local residents of the city, the cancellation of the parade has not yet been officially announced.
"There are such conversations, rumors. But we don't know the exact information yet", - the source told OstroV.
According to him, a big concert with the participation of russian performers has already been announced in the evening of July 31.
For Sevastopol, the Navy Day has always been considered one of the main holidays of the city, and the naval parade is its integral part.
As previously reported, a significant number of russian ships were redeployed from the occupied Sevastopol to Novorossiysk.
