The russian invades have almost completely destroyed the Sievierodonetsk thermal power plant in the Luhansk oblast. This was reported by Energoatom in Telegram on June 29.
"As a result of hostilities in the Luhansk oblast, the Sievierodonetsk thermal power plant was almost completely destroyed", - the report says.
Sievierodonetsk TPP is one of the largest combined heat and power plants in Ukraine. It was intended for heat and power supply of Sievierodonetsk and the Azot plant, a giant of the Ukrainian chemical industry.
Let us recall that the invaders threaten to transfer the Zaporizhzhia NPP under the control of Rosatom from September 1.
As previously reported, Energoatom estimates the damage to the industry from russian aggression at 40 billion.
