Russian troops continue to storm Lysychansk, simultaneously destroying the city with artillery shelling. This was reported on June 27 by head of the oblast military administration Serhiy Haidai.
"Rashists are storming Lysychansk, besides, they are constantly destroying the city with all possible weapons. The quantitative advantage is on the side of the enemy. Our defenders lack long-range artillery", - the official informed.
In particular, Haidai reported that the invaders fired at people from the Uragan MLRS when they were collecting water from a transport tank. As a result, at least eight deaths are known. Another 21 civilians were injured.
Haidai also noted that during the last two days, it has become impossible to bring humanitarian goods into the city.
"But the city hinges on the stocks that we made in advance, the hospital is also equipped with everything necessary", - the head of the oblast military administration stressed.
Earlier, the General Staff reported on the attempts of the invaders to storm Lysychansk.
