The so-called "mayor" of Donetsk Igor Martynov is going to defend his doctoral thesis on the development strategy of the sector of leisure and entertainment. This was reported on the website of the "Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of the DPR."
According to the report, self-appointed "mayor" is going to defend "scientific work" entitled "Strategy of development of the leisure and entertainment industry" in fake "Donetsk National University of Economics and Trade named after Mykhailo Tugan-Baranovsky" on June 28th, 2016. (This University left occupied Donetsk and operates on the free territory of Ukraine – OstroV).
It is significant that the applicant himself acknowledges on the pages of the abstract of his dissertation that his work was financed by Ukrainian budget. Furthermore, the thesis analyzes the geographical distribution of water parks in Ukraine. "Doctor of Economics" to be rightly considers Crimea and Donbass including Donetsk occupied by militants to be part of Ukraine.
