There are enough coal and gas reserves in Ukraine for the heating season. This was reported by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal today during the hour of questions to the government, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
"As for the availability of coal, the balance is positive as of today. We extract and import 2 million tons per month with a consumption of 1.7 million tons per month. According to the Ministry of Energy, the problem with coal has been resolved", - he reported.
He also noted that Ukraine has enough gas reserves to calmly pass through the heating season.
"All the necessary decisions in order to ensure the stability of the energy system are being made by the government promptly", - the head of the government said.
