The Verkhovna Rada has adopted in the second reading and as a whole draft law No.6359 on the admission of units of the armed forces of other states to the territory of Ukraine in 2022 to participate in multinational exercises, - correspondent of OstroV reports.

318 MPs supported the decision.

This is referred to nine multinational exercises involving 21 000 military personnel of the AFU and 11 500 military from NATO and other countries.

According to the explanatory note, the admission of foreign military personnel will increase the effectiveness of the implementation of national programs for the development of the own Armed Forces, and will also provide an opportunity to increase financial receipts through the sale of goods (works and services) for units of other countries.
