New Omicron strain of coronavirus has not yet been discovered in Ukraine. This was reported by Minister of Health Viktor Liashko at a briefing today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
"To date, the Omicron strain has not been found on the territory of Ukraine", - he reported.
According to him, the bulk of new strains of coronavirus arise in countries with low vaccination rates.

Head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen announced on November 26 that the EU intended to suspend air flight connection with the countries of southern Africa due to a new dangerous strain.
