22 415 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
22 415 people fell ill over the past day, including 1771 children and 345 health workers. 4892 people were hospitalized and 546 – died.
8 036 people recovered on October 20.
135 912 tests were carried over the past day, of which 71 841 – by PCR, 16 968 – by EIA and 47 103 – by rapid antigen tests.
2 701 600 people fell ill for the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2 352 835 patients recovered and 62 389 people died.
The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the Zhytomyr (1562), Odesa (1528), Lviv (1388), Zaporizhzhia (1355) and Kharkiv (1319) oblasts.
