Monetary compensation for houses destroyed as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation was assigned to another 28 owners in the Donetsk oblast. This was reported on October 5 by the press service of the Donetsk Regional State Administration.
A special commission at a regular meeting determined the persons who would receive payments for the destroyed housing. These are residents of Marinka, Krasnohorivka, Avdiivka, Opytne and Pisky. The total amount of financial assistance is about $226 thousand.
In total, over the year, 271 positive decisions were made to provide monetary compensation for a total of $2.5 million.
"This is a good result, but there is still time until the end of the year, and we should intensify our work in order to have time to send about $1.1 million to people", - deputy chairman of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Vadym Filashkin noted.
In total, more than 500 residents of the Donetsk oblast applied for compensation for housing destroyed during the hostilities. This payment cannot exceed $11.3 thousand.
