9666 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
9666 people fell ill over the past day, including 953 children and 204 health workers. 2855 people were hospitalized and 217 – died.
3281 people recovered on September 28.
92 829 tests were carried over the past day, of which 42 132 – by PCR, 10 973 – by EIA and 39 724 – by rapid antigen tests.
2 411 622 people fell ill for the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2 251 352 patients recovered and 56 080 – died.
The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the Kharkiv (976), Dnipropetrovsk (787), Donetsk (699), Odesa (662) and Zaporizhzhia (592) oblasts.
525 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the controlled territory of Luhansk oblast.
