2772 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine on September 8.
2772 people fell ill over the past day, including 254 children and 46 health workers. 1017 people were hospitalized and 60 – died.
1411 people recovered on September 7.
67 391 tests were carried over the past day, of which 28 990 – by PCR, 8110 – by EIA and 30 291 – by rapid antigen tests.
2 303 276 people fell ill for the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2 216 017 patients recovered and 54 114 – died.
The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the city of Kyiv (348), the Kharkiv (248), Chernivtsi (197), Zaporizhzhia (178) and Lviv (157) oblasts.
123 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the controlled territory of Luhansk oblast and 120 – in the Donetsk.
