1447 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
1447 people fell ill over the past day, including 104 children and 38 health workers. 677 people were hospitalized, 40 – died.
712 people recovered on August 17.
60 654 tests were carried over the past day, of which 27 053 – by PCR, 9171 – by EIA and 24 430 – by rapid antigen tests.
2 268 666 people fell ill for the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2 198 220 patients recovered and 53 336 – died.
The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the city of Kyiv (181), the Donetsk (155), Odesa (130), Dnipropetrovsk (93) and Kharkiv (89) oblasts.
65 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the controlled territory of Luhansk oblast.
