The enemy fired from automatic easel and under-barrel grenade launchers near the village of Pisky, as well as from large-caliber machine guns and small arms. In addition, the enemy unmanned aerial vehicle of the Orlan-10 type crossed the line of demarcation in the north of the Luhansk region. One member of the Joint Forces was injured as a result of the enemy shelling. The warrior is in a hospital. The state of health of the wounded is satisfactory. 460 cases of coronavirus disease were detected in the occupied territory of Donetsk oblast over the past day, on August 16, - the so-called "DNR" Ministry of Health reported. According to mortality data, 34 more people died in the same period, thus, the mortality rate has already "officially" started to grow - 7.3% (2.4% - in the free territory of Ukraine and 2.1% - in the world). In total, as of August 17, 52 469 people were infected with COVID-19 in CADO, 5 368 patients were undergoing treatment (inpatient and outpatient), 3 842 people died. 190 cases of "usual" pneumonia were also detected over the day, which is 48 cases more than in the past day. Of these, 128 patients were hospitalized. In total, 2116 patients with pneumonia are being treated, of which 812 are on oxygen support (+ 71 over the day).
There are not enough places for "covid" patients in the departments on the occupied territory of Donetsk oblast. According to him, there were not enough medicines in the hospital, he had to buy them for his own money, especially antibiotics. The patient spent about $136 on drugs.
Doctors registered 13 deaths from COVID-19 in the occupied territory of the Luhansk oblast over the day, separatist media wrote. Thus, doctors "officially" registered 724 deaths of patients diagnosed with coronavirus in the occupied Luhansk region since the beginning of the pandemic.
