Russia is ready to destroy any target by military means in case of violation of the state border of the Russian Federation. This statement was made by Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov, commenting on the version of Russia that the Defender British destroyer, making a transition off the coast of the occupied Crimea, allegedly invaded the territorial waters of the Russian Federation.

As previously reported, official London stated that the ship of the Royal Navy of Great Britain did not violate the state border of Russia, since, in accordance with international law, it was making a peaceful transition in the territorial waters of Ukraine. The Russian party, on the other hand, unreasonably claims that the occupied Crimea belongs to it and allegedly carried out warning firing and bombardment along the course of the Defender destroyer. London denies the fact of opening fire towards its destroyer.

This did not prevent Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov from belligerently stating that Russia can "appeal to common sense and demand respect for international law. If this does not help, we can bomb, not just on the course, but also on the target, if our colleagues do not understand".

"The territorial integrity of the Russian Federation is inviolable, the inviolability of its borders is an absolute imperative, we will stand guard over all this both by diplomatic and political, and, if necessary, by military means", - the diplomat once again made unfounded claims for the recognition of the Crimea occupation by the world community.
