The Donetsk police have taken a 16-year-old girl who came to the line of demarcation from the occupied territory as ward. This is reported by the Communication Department of the MIA of Ukraine.

So, a 16-year-old girl came to the position of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the side of the so-called "DNR" near the Verkhnyotoretske settlement on May 27 at about 23:00. She lives in occupied Horlivka together with her grandmother, who is her guardian, and has a passport of the so-called "DNR". Law enforcers found that the minor deliberately came to the demarcation line of the Verkhnyotoretske settlement having crossed minefields after resting with friends. She announced her desire to live on the territory of Ukraine, free from the occupation. According to the girl, she has relatives in Western Ukraine.

Now the girl is being dealt with by the Donetsk region's juvenile police and social service. She was examined by doctors, she has no bodily harm. Psychologists work with the girl. Until all the circumstances are established, the minor will be in the shelter under the supervision of police officers and workers of the child services bodies.
