5165 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
5165 people fell ill over the past day, including 324 children and 109 health workers. 1884 people were hospitalized, 203 – died.
16 748 people recovered on May 19.
69 732 tests were carried over the past day, of which 29 509 – by PCR, 12 693 – by EIA and 27 530 – by rapid antigen tests.
2 170 398 people fell ill for the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 1 916 194 patients recovered and 48 899 – died.
The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the city of Kyiv (433), the Dnipropetrovsk (489), Kharkiv (429), Zaporizhzhia (311) and Kyiv (295) oblasts.
