4095 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov on Facebook.
4095 people fell ill over the past day, including 235 children and 162 health workers. 999 people were hospitalized, 285 – died.
17 751 people recovered on May 17.
61 110 tests were carried over the past day, of which 30 693 – by PCR, 13 378 – by EIA and 17 039 – by rapid antigen tests.
2 160 095 people fell ill for the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 1 882 344 patients recovered and 48 469 – died.
The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the city of Kyiv (425), the Donetsk (428), Rivne (425), Poltava (275) and Zaporizhzhia (265) oblasts.
