16 427 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov on Facebook.
16 427 people fell ill over the past day, including 628 children and 383 health workers. 4229 people were hospitalized, 433 – died.
11 148 people recovered on April 14.
119 615 tests were carried over the past day, of which 51 344 – by PCR, 20 017 – by EIA and 48 254 – by rapid antigen tests.
1 903 765 people fell ill for the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 1 453 766 patients recovered and 38 658 – died.
The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the city of Kyiv (1625), the Kharkiv (1168), Khmelnytskiy (1088), Zaporizhzhia (1015) and Dnipropetrovsk (1005) oblasts.
