15 415 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov on Facebook.
15 415 people fell ill over the past day, including 636 children and 437 health workers. 5 587 people were hospitalized, 481 – died. 11 472 people recovered on April 6.
140 224 tests were carried over the past day, of which 59 049 – by PCR, 23 778 – by EIA and 57 397 – by rapid antigen tests.
1 784 579 people fell ill for the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 1 373 851 patients recovered and 35 498 – died.
The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the Odesa (1 236), Lviv (1 185), Kharkiv (1 017) and Kyiv (1 092) oblasts, as well as in the city of Kyiv (1 417).
