Three "employees of the DNR Ministry of State Security" were announced in absentia suspicion of illegal imprisonment and torture of people in the Izolyatsia underground prison of occupied Donetsk. This was reported by the press service of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.

It was established that the 40-year-old so-called "criminal investigator of the Ministry of State Security's operational unit", controlled by the Russian Federation in the occupied territory of Donetsk oblast, detained civilians and, after interrogations, during which he tortured them, took them to the Izolyatsia underground prison.

Also, the 40-year-old and 41-year-old guards were guarding people illegally deprived of their freedom on the territory of the former insulation materials factory. To obtain information from the prisoners, they were forced to hard labor - cleaning the territory, unloading and loading weapons, ammunition and containers with fuels and lubricants.

Now 11 people have been identified, who have suffered from the criminal actions of the "Ministry of State Security" employees.

The suspects are prosecuted in absentia for human trafficking, participation in paramilitary forces not provided for by the law, violation of the laws and customs of the war committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons (part 2 of article 149, part 1 of article 260, part 2 of article 28 and part 1 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
