The Ministry of Health will recommend to enforce strict quarantine in early January. This was announced by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov at a briefing in Kyiv today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
"We, as the Ministry of Health, will not now recommend introducing strict quarantines until the end of December, because we see a steady increase in new patients with COVID-19 without sharp spikes", - he reported.
According to him, the Ukrainian medical system can withstand the current load.
"We will offer the government to enforce a planned strict quarantine with maximum restrictions from the first days of January", - the minister said.
