Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has met with his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba in Ankara on December 2. The Anadolu agency reports this.
Çavuşoğlu noted that the meeting was held in a confidential atmosphere.
"We will continue to strengthen our ties, including in the defense sphere. Turkey welcomes the initiative to create the Crimean Platform", - Çavuşoğlu wrote on Twitter following the meeting with Kuleba.
As reported, Dmytro Kuleba stated that Ukraine was interested in the acquisition of Turkish Bayraktar drones, as well as in joint projects for the exchange of technologies in the defense sector.
The Crimean Platform format is a platform created by Ukraine for coordinating international efforts to protect the rights of Crimeans and de-occupy the peninsula.
