In conditions of almost 7% of deaths from COVID-19, occupation authorities of the "DNR" are expecting humanitarian aid from Russia to fight the pandemic. This is said in the statement of leader of the "DNR" Denis Pushilin.

The puppet ruler of the uncontrolled territory of Donetsk oblast admitted that the fake "republic" could not solve the problem of the growing number of coronavirus infected and deaths on its own.

"Against this background, the Russian Federation will provide us with humanitarian assistance in October 2020 in order to improve the epidemiological situation in the "republic", namely, it will ensure the supply of medicines and medical supplies (test systems and consumables for PCR studies, personal protective equipment, disinfectants, 30 lung ventilators, 75 oxygen concentrators, pulseoxymetry devices and other medical equipment) with a total cost of 258 million rubles ($3.35 million)", - the DNR leader promises.

As previously reported, 5509 cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed in the "DNR" as of the morning of October 21, of which 385 were fatal. Local pharmacies lack the necessary medications.
