7053 cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov at a briefing in Kyiv today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
"We have another anti-record. 7053 people fell ill over the past day, including 306 children and 354 health workers. 924 people were hospitalized over the past day", - the minister stated.
According to him, 116 deaths from COVID-19 were recorded over the past day, 2679 patients recovered.
"In total, 322 879 people fell ill in Ukraine during the pandemic, including 19 452 children and 20 528 health workers. 134 898 people recovered and 6043 died", - Maksym Stepanov said.
52 418 tests on COVID-19 were carried over the past day, of which 33 901 - by PCR and 28 517 - by EIA.
