281 239 cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of October 15. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov at a briefing in Kyiv today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
"5062 people fell ill over the past day, including 272 children and 199 health workers. 679 people were hospitalized over the past day", - the minister stated.
According to him, 73 deaths from COVID-19 were recorded over the past day, 951 patients recovered.
"In total, 281 239 people fell ill in Ukraine during the pandemic, including 17 436 children and 18 607 health workers. 119 650 people recovered and 5 302 died", - Maksym Stepanov said.
38 491 tests on COVID-19 were carried over the past day, of which 30 334 - by PCR and 8 157 - by EIA.
