The Russian Federation continues to supply weapons and military equipment to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. This is stated by the Ukrainian side of the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) on ceasefire and stabilization of the demarcation line between the parties, - the press center of the JFO headquarters reports.
To implement its plan for the covert movement of forces and equipment, the enemy constantly uses dirt roads, bypassing official checkpoints, in order to pass unnoticed by representatives of the OSCE SMM. The facts of violations by the Russian occupation forces were recorded in the daily report of the OSCE SMM as of October 5, 2020, - the report says.
Thus, on the southern outskirts of Huselshchykove, near the village of Novoazovsk, where there are no checkpoints, the OSCE SMM observers noticed a white car with the inscription "military inspection" in Russian, which was parked near the road. They also saw fresh traces from an infantry fighting vehicle on this road, leading to the settlement of Patriotychne in the Donetsk oblast.
The Ukrainian party of the JCCC notes that the above facts indicate a violation of the Memorandum on the implementation of provisions of the Protocol following the consultations of the Trilateral Contact Group of September 19, 2014, in particular, paragraph 5 on the ban on the deployment of heavy weapons and military equipment in the area of Novoazovsk, according to the OSCE monitoring.
