162 660 cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of September 16. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov at a briefing in Kyiv today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
"2958 people fell ill over the past day, of which 231 children and 149 health workers. 504 people were hospitalized over the past day", - the minister stated.
According to him, 76 deaths from COVID-19 were recorded over the past day, 1514 patients recovered.
"In total, 162 660 people fell ill during the pandemic, including 10 558 children and 13 249 health workers. 72 324 people recovered and 3 340 died", - Maksym Stepanov said.
51 590 tests on COVID-19 were carried over the past day, of which 27 794 - by PCR and 23 796 - by EIA.
