Occupation authorities of the "DNR" have recalled their intention to fire at Ukrainian positions in order to destroy the trenches and dugouts of the Joint Forces. This is said in the statement of the so-called "Foreign Minister" Natalia Nikonorova.

As previously reported, leader of the "DNR" Denis Pushilin delivered an ultimatum to the Armed Forces of Ukraine on August 28: to eliminate the trenches and shelters by September 3, which, according to the militants leader, the AFU had illegally additionally equipped in the area of ​​the settlement of Shumy. He demands to provide him with a "report of completion" Upon the dismantling of the Ukrainian fortifications. Otherwise, he threatens to destroy this fortified area with "return fire".
