123 303 cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of September 1. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov at a briefing in Kyiv today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
"2088 people fell ill over the past day, of which 104 children and 101 health workers. 391 people were hospitalized over the past day", - the minister stated.
According to him, 48 deaths from COVID-19 were recorded over the past day.
688 patients recovered.
"In total, 123 303 people fell ill during the pandemic, including 8 078 children and 11 362 health workers. 57 802 people recovered and 2605 died", - Maksym Stepanov said.
42 068 tests on COVID-19 were carried over the past day, of which 22 627 - by PCR and 19 041 - by EIA.
According to Stepanov, the largest number of cases over the past day was recorded in the Chernivtsi (117), Ternopil (170), Kharkiv (262), Ivano-Frankivsk (169), Odessa (211) and Lviv (193) oblasts, as well as in Kyiv (176).
