Occupation authorities of the "DNR" recognized 21 new cases of COVID-19. This was stated in the report of the press service of the so-called "Ministry of Health". At the same time, the "ministry" assured that "five of the sick arrived from the territory controlled by Kyiv on July 17". Nothing was said about the number of sick people who freely enter the zone of occupation from Russia. In total, 1669 cases of the disease and 99 deaths were "officially" confirmed in CADO.

At the same time, Ignatenko complained that with the beginning of the Russian occupation in 2014, a significant part of the teaching staff refused to work in the illegal clone of the Ukrainian Medical University.
