President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and President of the Swiss Confederation Simonetta Sommaruga have begun a joint working trip to the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. As the OstroV correspondent reports, a plane with the heads of the two states has already landed at the airfield in Kramatorsk.
The trip is carried out as part of the state visit to Ukraine of the President of the Swiss Confederation.
The program of the visit includes a visit to the Voda Donbassa Company and a report by head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko on its problems.
It is also envisaged to inspect a Swiss humanitarian convoy that delivered chemicals to Sloviansk for water purification and medical supplies to combat COVID-19 for the Sloviansk hospitals.
After that, a commentary for the media and a visit to the Open Space - Monopoly Crohn Art Quarter are planned.
Then, a round table will take place with representatives of the OSCE SMM, ICRC, the UN system in Ukraine and the leadership of the Donetsk oblast.
After lunch, a flight is scheduled to Stanytsia Luhanska, where it is planned to inspect the construction of the Sievierodonetsk-Stanytsia Luhanska national road and communicate with the representatives of local communities.
Then it is planned to move to the Stanytsia Luhanska checkpoint, where the presidents will get acquainted with the work of this checkpoint.
