50 414 cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of July 8. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov at a briefing in Kyiv today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
"807 people fell ill over the past day, of which 65 children and 46 health workers", - he stated.
According to him, 23 deaths from COVID-19 were recorded over the past day.
926 patients recovered, which, according to the Minister, is an all-time record.
Meanwhile, the statistics worsened again: 564 people got sick over the past day.
"In total, 50 414 people fell ill during the pandemic, including 3 664 children and 7 092 health workers. 23 119 people recovered and 1306 died", - Maksym Stepanov said.
27 584 tests on COVID-19 were carried over the past day, of which 13 568 - by PCR and 14 016 - by EIA.
According to him, the largest number of cases over the past day was recorded in the Lviv (117) and Rivne (76) oblasts, as well as in Kyiv (114).
