The Verkhovna Rada has voted down the elaborated program of activities of the government of Denys Shmyhal, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
207 people's deputies from 226 necessary casted an affirmative vote.
"We are not a government of dreamers, populists or PR. We have come to correct the mistakes of others and carry out the changes expected by society. Neither the government nor I need immunity. We can and will work efficiently without any immunity", - Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal stated from the parliamentary rostrum.
The elaborated program includes the short-term and long-term priorities of activities of the Cabinet of Ministers. In addition, the document contains tasks for each individual ministry.

The refusal of the Verkhovna Rada to approve the government program deprives the CMU of annual immunity for its implementation.
