US President Barack Obama signed an official announcement to extend the emergency measures imposed because of the events in Ukraine. The text of the document is published on the website of the White House, - reports Yevropeyskaya Pravda.

US President extended the four of his orders dated 2014, which, in particular, ban economic relations between American citizens and companies with a number of Ukrainian and Russian legal and physical entities.

In particular:

- Order 13660 as of 06/03/2014, which allowed the arrest of the assets of all persons involved in the suppression of the "Euromaidan"

- Order 13661 as of 19/03/2014, which imposed sanctions on a number of Russian politicians - Elena Mizulina, Leonid Slutsky, Andrei Klishas, ​​Valentina Matviyenko, Dmitry Rogozin, Vladislav Surkov, Sergei Glazyev, as well as other persons involved in the annexation of Crimea.

- Order 13662 as of 20/03/2014, which tightened sanctions against Crimea

- Order 13685 of 19/12/2014, which among other things forbade American parties to have economic relations with individuals and enterprises that operate on the territory of Crimea.

All these sanctions are extended until March 2017.
