21 584 cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of May 26. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov at a briefing in Kyiv today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
"339 people fell ill over the past day, of which 35 children and 71 health workers", - he stated.
According to him, 21 deaths from COVID-19 have been recorded over the past day.
"In total, 21 584 people fell ill during the pandemic, including 1581 children and 4183 health workers. 7575 people recovered and 644 died", - Maksym Stepanov said.
The Minister noted that 9653 tests on COVID-19 were carried out by PCR over the past day.
