20 148 cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of May 22. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov at a briefing in Kyiv today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
"442 people fell ill over the past day, of which 29 children and 74 health workers", - he stated.
According to him, 9 deaths from COVID-19 have been recorded over the past day.
"In total, 20 148 people fell ill during the pandemic, including 1434 children and 3907 health workers. 6585 people recovered and 588 died", - Maksym Stepanov said.
The Minister noted that 8923 tests on COVID-19 were carried out by PCR over the past day.
