18 616 cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of May 18. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov at a briefing in Kyiv today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
"325 people fell ill over the past day, of which 23 children and 81 health workers", - he stated.
According to him, 21 deaths from COVID-19 have been recorded over the past day.
"In total, 18 616 people fell ill during the pandemic, including 1324 children and 3650 health workers. 5276 people recovered and 535 died", - Maksym Stepanov said.
The Minister noted that 5098 tests on COVID-19 were carried out by PCR over the past day.
