The number of new cases of coronavirus infection in Kyiv is 41 people over the past day. This was reported by mayor of the capital Vitali Klitschko at an online briefing, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
"Over the past day, the number of people in Kyiv who got coronavirus infections increased almost three times compared with the previous days, - 41 people, including two doctors. 1 death over the past day", - he noted.
According to him, of the new cases of diseased over the past day - 26 are from the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra. "It is hard to imagine what the further chain of the infection transmission might be", - he noted.
Klitschko added that he met with representatives of different churches in order to limit the visit to churches during the Easter period as much as possible.
In total, there are 335 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Kyiv.
