The President's Office is not able to clearly answer what the authorities would do if President Volodymyr Zelensky is hospitalized because of COVID-19. A comment was made by deputy head of the President's Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko, - Ukrayinska Pravda reports.

"Some kind of protocol has been developed", - Tymoshenko said, answering journalists' questions about the actions of the authorities in a situation similar to that in which Britain found itself with the illness of Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

"…But it is clear that there is no acting one. Well, maybe the Speaker of the Rada can somehow fulfill the duties. But the president is always in touch, therefore, I think that if, God forbid, something happens, the work will be carried out over the phone", - he suggested.

Tymoshenko specified that the country's leaders did PCR tests for coronavirus. Answering the question whether Volodymyr Zelensky was tested, Tymoshenko answered evasively: "It seems so". Then, he added confidently: "The president, the head of the Presidential Office and the deputies were checked".
