"The purpose of adoption of the law is to increase revenues to the LNR state budget by increasing excise tax rates on alcoholic beverages produced in the republic and increasing the excise tax rate on malt beer imported into the LNR customs territory", - the "tax committee" stated. "In particular, the excise tax rate on the production of alcoholic beverages previously was $1 per liter, now it will be $1.1 per liter. The rate for our beer producers was $0.05 per liter, now it will be $0.08 per liter", - the report of the "tax authorities" said.
