Charge d'Affaires of Ukraine to the UN Yuriy Vitrenko has sent a letter to the UN Secretary General António Guterres, in which he informed him about the situation around the Crimean Bridge. This is reported by Twitter of the Ukrainian mission to the UN.
As previously reported, on December 23, Russian occupiers illegally opened a railway communication over the bridge across the Kerch Strait, connecting Russia and the Crimea, which is temporarily uncontrolled to Ukraine.
"Neither the trips of Russian officials, nor the construction of the bridge can change the status of Crimea, which is an integral part of the territory of Ukraine", - the statement said.
