More than half of Ukrainians positively assess the withdrawal of troops in the Donbass. This was reported by director of the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation Iryna Bekeshkina at a press conference in Kyiv today, presenting the results of a sociological study, - correspondent of OstroV reports.

"75% positively assess the fact that the president initiated negotiations with Vladimir Putin, and 15% - negatively", - she reported.

According to her, the decision to withdraw troops in the Donbass was also positively assessed by Ukrainians: 59% - positively and 26% - negatively.

Ukrainians also positively assess the provision of citizenship to foreigners who defended the territorial integrity of Ukraine (61% versus 17%), the resumption of dialogue with Poland on historical issues of concern (63% versus 10%), the decision to legalize the production of amber (71% versus 13%) and full renewal of the composition of the Central Election Commission (49% versus 13.5%).

A nationwide study of public opinion of the population of Ukraine was conducted by the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation in cooperation with the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology from November 4 to 19, 2019.
